Overall description
Copa-Cogeca, the leading EU organisation representing European farmers and agri-cooperatives, is looking for a native Romanian-speaking conference interpreter and translator to join our Language Services team.
The successful candidate will have Romanian A, English or French B, and English and French C. Previous experience and knowledge of Italian, Spanish, German and/or Polish would be an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Translating documents (position papers, letters, agendas, minutes, press releases, etc.) for our organisation with the help of Trados Studio.
- Simultaneously interpreting Copa and Cogeca’s internal and external events, both on-site and on Interactio. Consecutive interpreting may be occasionally required.
Qualifications
- University degree in conference interpreting (BA/MA or equivalent).
- Previous experience is desired but not required.
- Excellent sense of team spirit.
- Computer literacy: MS Office applications, modern communication tools.
- Experience with Trados or other CAT tools would be an asset.

- The whole selection procedure will take place ONLINE
(simultaneous interpreting test on INTERACTIO and job interview on Microsoft Teams).
- Further instructions on how to create an INTERACTIO account
and the final date of the test will be communicated to shortlisted candidates at a later stage.
