8th Edition of the Innovation Award for Women farmers 2025
The 8th edition of the Innovation Award for Women Farmers officially launches on April 7th. Since its inception, each edition of the award has spotlighted a specific theme, and the 2025 edition is no exception. This year’s theme, “Women Making Waves in Sustainable Water Systems,” highlights the vital role women play in tackling water-related challenges across the agricultural sector. Copa and Cogeca, in collaboration with Corteva Agriscience, aim to showcase and celebrate the innovative contributions of women farmers driving sustainability and resilience in rural communities. Organic Awards 2024
The EU Organic Awards had its first session held in 2022 and for the 2024 awards it is organised in conjunction with the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), COPA-COGECA and IFOAM Organics Europe. The Organic Awards were launched this year with more information to come on 4th March.

Innovation Award for Women Farmers
The Innovation Award for Women Farmers is a biennial award first introduced in 2010 to shed a light on the hundreds of innovative projects conducted every year all over Europe by Women farmers. The award is an opportunity to showcase the many innovative approaches women take in finding new solutions to the challenges faced in rural areas. 2020 marked the 6th edition of this Pan European competition developed by Copa-Cogeca, the voice of farmers and agri-cooperatives at EU level, and the winner was announced on 10th March 2021.

European Award for Cooperative Innovation
The “European Award for Cooperative Innovation” is a Cogeca initiative that aims to recognise and promote practices and innovative solutions designed by European agri-cooperatives, and share, within the sector and with policy makers, the achievements in the agri-food chain, as well as the innovative ways to create value for their members. The date of the award ceremony will be during the 2nd quarter of 2021.
